Happy EOFYS!

It is nearly the end of the financial year and we are looking at it as the end of what has been a pretty ordinary start full of mayhem and struggles. When we were in Rarotonga for New Years and a torrential rainfall started, one of the locals looked out to the ocean and said that the rain was washing away all of the bad luck of the old year. I hope it BUCKETS down then!
Of course there have been a few highlights so far. The main one starting our own business, despite the start being a bit awkward. We have a lot of hope that this was a promising move to make and that it will be good for our future.
The main thing is that we are together through thick and thin. Everyday there is something to be happy for. So much more good stuff lays ahead! (...and even though it sounds wild and wacky, my clairvoyant agrees! Am hoping that the near future that she see's arrives soon!)

It's nearly been a year and we have kept on meaning to add stuff to the blog...as of course our life is so exciting! (Hmmm!) Anyway here is a summary of what has happened...
  • We got married.
  • We stayed at a Melbourne hotel and got upgraded to the penthouse suite...all because we just happened to mention that we just got married.
  • Went to Rarotonga for our honeymoon...pictures to follow
  • Welcomed Ollie that Cavalier King Charles to the family
  • Spent our first weekend apart in nearly 2 years when I went to a friends wedding in Tassie

More to come...with details!

Back Blog

Ok, Ok its been a while. Have been madly organising THE WEDDING! Also now have a sincere appreciation of exactly how much work goes into one. Slightly more than co-ordinating a school concert...OMG that reminds me...ITS CONCERT YEAR TOO. Arrrgghhhh!
Christmas was, 'eventful.' We decided that we would get a real Christmas tree...pine smell in the house and all that. Took the Ute out and found 2 girls that were selling them on the side of the road from a shipping container. We lobbed out of the car and they asked us what size we wanted. To which Ash replies. "A BIG ONE" So, stowed the monster tree in the back and went home. (Feeling a little like Chevy Chase in National Lampoons Christmas) At home, we opened the back of the Ute and a wasp flew out. Hmm...ok...its summer...wasps make sense...don't they? Didn't think any more of it as we dragged the tree into the living room. Ash busied himself putting the tree on a base and it was then we heard the hum. Yep. MILLIONS OF WASPS WERE IN THE TREE. Clever people would drag the tree out of the house and fumigate it. What Ash and Sheri would do is spray the tree liberally with insect killer and then vacuum them up. (After chaisng Princess away, as she wanted to play with the dying wasps.) Finally, tree was wasp free and decorated with blue and silver decorations...perfect! Will add some pictures when I transfer them off my laptop.

I'm sorry Oscar!

I thought that it would be funny to put blue food dye on Oscar to celebrate the Cats win...he could show his support by being blue and white. I wasn't banking on him licking it off and also rolling in in. He has had a bath, yet still blue spots are appearing here and there. Ooops!

Addy pictures cont...

Yes, we are there! Grab a magifying glass and you should be able to see us!

The Addy pictures!

Here we are in all our glory!

You can just see my pink hat and Ash is holding his camera. To my left is the TALLEST man in the world who decided to come and sit in front of us. 30,000 seats in a stadium and he had to sit in front of us! Typical!
